Willy De Sauter
The Belgian artist Willy De Sauter (b. 1938) has developed a consistent body of work since the early 1970s. While his early works were mainly composed of consistent repetitions of line patterns, he has, from the 1980s onward, focussed on the realisation of monochrome chalk paintings and objects.
The permanent collection is not on view during the contemporary exhibitions, but it is visible through the website of MovE (Museums East-Flanders in Evolution).
