Mission Statement
The museum Dhondt-Dhaenens is a private foundation recognised by the Flemish Government.
As a museum, it makes publicly accessible important modern and contemporary private collections with a social relevance.
As a contemporary art centre, it aims to play an active role in the international art field.

Art & Language
Art & Language is an evolving collaboration of various conceptual artists which was initiated in the United Kingdom in around 1967. Over the decades, many artists have been associated with Art & Language for shorter or longer periods, creating work together ‘in the name of’ Art & Language. Art & Language has remained active to this day.

Willy De Sauter
The Belgian artist Willy De Sauter (b. 1938) has developed a consistent body of work since the early 1970s. While his early works were mainly composed of consistent repetitions of line patterns, he has, from the 1980s onward, focussed on the realisation of monochrome chalk paintings and objects.

open from Tuesday trough Sunday, 10am - 5pm
