The MDD thanks its raison d’être to its many friends and sympathizers. The Friends turn the museum into a place with sparkling encounters, discussion and ambiance. The Friends of the MDD are intensely involved with the activities and functioning. In 2010-2011, the museum counts 200 Friends.

Masters

250 euro / year
Masters are private individuals who personally, because of their affinity, commit themselves to supporting the MDD.

Young MDD

350 euro + 150 euro / year
Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens is young and future-oriented. We are acutely aware of the importance of attracting young people to the museum and of guiding them in their discovery and perception of modern and contemporary art. Young MDD addresses people up to the age of 40, with a nascent interest in international contemporary art. Every year, a programme with five all-inclusive activities is proposed, including a citytrip of three days (2010: Berlin / 2011: Venice). Apart from this you will also enjoy the same privileges as the Friends of the Museum.

Donors

> 1.000 euro / year
The Donors play a crucial role with regard to the MDD’s networking diversity. The companies are at the basis of the success of the MDD’s organised activities.You can become a donator by making a contribution of at least 1000 Euros. You connect the name of your company to one of the most progressive and established museums and art centres in Flanders.
Different return options are negotiable, including name listing in print and on the website, organizing a company party with a tour of the museum, free tickets for staff and customers, invitations to previews of exhibitions, ...

The Patrons

> 5.000 euro / year
The Patrons are a group of enthusiastic managers, passionate about art. They are particularly important, not only because of the financial support they provide, but also because they continually make their contacts and “know-how” available to the MDD. Every month, the patrons come together to discuss newest developments in the world of the arts.
